Easy Friday

Dave - my wife and eldest have since caught the vomitting bug so I wasn't being paranoid! I'm the only clean member of the family.

Very easy 10k run up to Kings Cross and around the Domain with Serg, Kanser and Enda. 48:45. Felt fine and nice to loosen the legs after yesterday's session. Now just to relax until Sunday and not drink too much red wine or smoke too many cigars at Poker Night tonight...

Its funny who and what you find when you google search. In this case I was looking for Homebush 10k results. I find a guy who lives 2ks away and who is preparing for the half whose kids are sick.. (mine too!) A big diff is you are about 5 mins quicker over 10k than me!

I live at Nth Balgowlah ... will look out for you around the traps .. I am usually doing a long run at middish to Manly/Shelly with the pram and a kid

Good luck Sunday

Best of luck for the semi Tom. I'll be thinking of you as I run my 10km race Sunday morning. It's getting a bit warm for me for races now - around 20°C and I start fading rapidly !! I'll give you a call tomorrow to check you haven't gone down with the bug!

Tim - you're obviously making up for being conservative about my Homebush time by going the other way for tomorrow. Are you running? Have you been taking time off?

Hope everyone has a great run tomorrow, especially the HuRTS team (should have been Highman's Racing Team Squad).

Forced taper since Tuesday for me, foot is taped and neurofen are on the kitchen counter. WIll see if the foot can hold out for 21k's.

Just remember to watch the pace the first 2-3 km's - it's going to be easy to get excited going down hunter st then through the flat pittst c.quay section. (queue end of free advice :-)

See you all out there in the cold rain I suspect.
