Long Bay run

Caught up with the Tiger and ran three extended 9km loops of the Bay Run. Times went 43:00, 41:30 and 41:51 for 2:06:21, plus 1km warm up for 28km all up. Lovely cool and still morning. Good chat with the Tiger in between him saying hello to virtually every runner going around the Bay.

Thanks for asking about the Paris marathon bro !!
I finished and the whole event went pretty well. The last 5km were buggers and all the leg muscles were pulling at the end.
Finished in 3:10:43 which is not bad for a first attempt.
Can't walk now and will be probably be even worse tomorrow.
Speak soon.

Jamie - great run for a first marathon. Bet you didn't think you were capable of doing two consecutive half marathons in 1:35 a few months ago. A few more kms in the legs and you'll beat that easy.

Aim now has to be sub 6 minute miles for 10km (37:30), sub 4 min kms for a half (1:24:24) and sub 3 hours for the full. You should have a bet with Superflake as to who achieves them first....

Will he pay for a meal for my wife and I in the restaurant of my choice if I achieve ?

That's the only motivation that works on me apparently !
