Monday home

Caught up with Dickyboy again for the run home. Once again, it was less than comfortable as he seemed intent on running a PB while I struggled to hold on and listen to his conversation. 29:00 at the Toyota Garage and 54:22 all up.

The SMH Half has just got more interesting with the development of the England v Ireland showdown (unlimited counters, first 5 home on overall time). Some underhand tactics on the part of Kanser in trying to claim that Robbie Neal is a HuRT Squad member despite having only ever turned up at a couple of sessions 4 years ago. To be fair to him, Robbie did text me a couple of weeks ago asking about the Thursday session and, without him, we could have all 5 Englishmen home before the first Irishman crawls over the line. So I thought it was OK. Lieutenant Timmy was less accommodating. Obviously an Englishman of the old school, looking to dominate his opposition. I think Timmy should be concentrating on getting in the top 5. With Jonny B, Andy H, Big Sam, Dickyboy and Fats in the mix, it won't be easy.

Where is the Aussie team?

Thanks Charlie for support once more, and we'll let you know when the aussie team can join .... just need to find a couple more people from Bangladesh to make a team up that you could actually beat :)
Pie eating is not on the list just yet, but will get back to you shortly.

I must admit I like a good pie.

Pie eating is all I am good for these days Tim.

An Aussie Team of Tucks, Bartlett, Tonge, Walker, Macca (?), Jason would be competitive. (you wouldn't make that team either)

An Aussie team of Tucks, Bartlett, Scotty-O, Jason I, etc would be very strong. Not sure Macca's heritage? Actually I dare say would beat both the English and Irish teams.

I reckon it should be English, Irish, Aussie, and All Other Nations. Spread the love

Invite only - sorry.
We will give the next challenger there shot at the title once we have sent the Irish packing :)

The Poms would smash the Aussies and the rest of the World. Tonge in the HuRT Squad? You're joking. Macca an Aussie? Doesn't the accent give it away? He's as Aussie as me. Tucks is doing a bushwalk the day prior and Bartles is on crutches so bring it on I say. All the more beer for me.

No doubt losing Tucks is a massive hit to an Aussie team, which I believe would have been a no-brainer to beat the Poms as the teams previously stated.

Bartlett, Scotty-O and Jason would still be a very strong team. However to beat the Poms they would need the stars to align with 1) all to have excellent races on the day given no 'alternates' like the Poms and 2) the existence of strong 4th??
